2/1 - Day One of the Paleo Challenge
The goal that I have decided on for myself for the Paleo Challenge is to get leaner. I want to be able to 6 dead hang pullups in a row instead of the three in a row that I currently can do. Since I do not want to lose even an ounce of muscle, I'm going to set a reasonable and realistic goal of trimming down from 194lbs to 182lbs. I think that this goal is realistic but will still be challenging enough so that I will have to eat a very clean paleo diet with only a few minor cheat meals.
We are also putting our cats on a paleo diet, as they have some extra pounds to lose. We purchased a high protein / low carb cat food yesterday that is as close to a natural meat diet as you can get w/out giving them actual meat. So we will see what they look like in a couple of months!
5 AM - Banana
8 AM - 4 Scrambled eggs
8AM - Coffee with cream
10AM - Raspberries, blueberries, blackberries
Noon - Avgolemono soup (eggs, chicken, chicken stock, lemons)
2PM - raspberries, blueberries, blackberries
2PM - walnuts
6PM - salmon & broccoli
7PM - broccoli, cauliflower, & carrots
